What is the origin of your derby name and/or number?
After almost ten years in derby, I simply don't give a fox anymore. #NoDramaPlz #ShutUpAndSkate
What teams have you played with?
K-Town Derby Girls, Roller Girls of the Apocalypse, Barock City, DCPD, Blackwater Bombshells, Twin City Knockers, Twin City Roller Derby.
How/when did you discover derby?
I watched "Whip It" in 2009 and started my own team soon thereafter, but I've been skating for more than three decades.
How has derby impacted your life?
It has given me the opportunity to travel all over the world. I have been to almost a dozen countries to compete and attend training camps.
What derby positions do you enjoy playing?
Pivot and Jammer
Do you have a personal goal for this year?
Don't get broke - physically or fiscally. Off-skates conditioning is a priority this year.
What advice do you have for new skaters?
Find the BEST helmet that you can afford and buy the next best one. Trust! And just buy the SISU mouthguard so we can understand what you're saying without watching you pull a giant, slimy chunk of plastic out of your mouth every 30 seconds. Also, your hands are dirtier than you think.
What are your non-derby hobbies?
I train service dogs, am a full-time grad student and volunteer with an international disaster response organization.
What is your day job?
It involves leather boots and handcuffs. Use your imagination. :P
