What is the origin of your derby name and/or number?
My derby name was suggested from one of my teammates that I looked up to during my fresh meat. Every since I started playing sports I have been #12 so ironically for the last 12 years I have been #12.
What teams have you played with?
Roller Girls of the Apocalypse, Twin City Knockers and Twin City Roller Derby
How/when did you discover derby?
About four years ago.
How has derby impacted your life?
Not only have I been able to travel to some really cool places with some of my closest friends, but anywhere I move I always gain a family.
What derby positions do you enjoy playing?
All of them
Do you have a personal goal for this year?
I have so many goals this year. I want to become a better leader; I want to become more twirly on the track; and I want to improve my communication on and off the track.

What advice do you have for new skaters?
Everyone has been where you are and everyone struggles with different things so don't compare yourself to others. Also, ask everyone for help, someone will eventually explain it so it clicks.
What are your non-derby hobbies?
I enjoy hanging out with my boo thing Dan and cuddling our dogs (they are possibly the laziest dogs ever).
What is your day job?
Active Duty Military

If you are thinking about joining derby ... just do it! We not only need skaters but officials skating and non-skating, so no matter what we have a place for you! Everyone better watch out for Twin City this year, we are gonna kill it!!
